LASSÙ – Cosmic Cabaret Debut Campaign
Roll up, Roll up! In an exciting new partnership, MM introduced LASSÙ to Perth – a brand new, adults only show from seventh generation circus performer and producer Merrik Ashton, with plans to expand the tour nationally. The LASSÙ show centres around a Cosmic Cabaret Saloon perched on the galaxy’s edge, where space cowboys, alien drifters, and the legendary Rodeo Sisters dazzle with out-of-this-world acts. A story where past and future collide in a spectacular, risqué circus experience.
With the key objectives being to build awareness, inform, and entice the local market to purchase tickets and attend the show, Media Merchants collaborated on strategy, media and creative execution to successfully deliver this.

Creative Execution
MM assisted with retouching imagery of the leading cast members to be used across all campaign assets and were also tasked with creating the Key Art concept for the production, utilising the retouched cast images alongside supplied assets like the logo, fonts, and brand guidelines.
The producer was able to supply an in-depth brief for the Key Art, which was to be clean and sultry, as well as futuristic merged with western – think rodeo meets Beyoncé. The design was to blend the timeless allure of country western style, with a sleek, contemporary futuristic edge. Utilising dynamic elements like light flares and other theatrical effects was encouraged to bring the concept to life and keep the artwork vibrant and engaging.
Inspired by this, MM brainstormed and refined multiple creative options with the client, leading to the final Key Art. This was adapted into various formats and distributed for the production’s debut at Perth Fringe World Festival in January 2025.
